Christina Hendricks has been discovered as an online Etsy model for her friend Tamara Mello. Etsy is a site that enables “people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers.”
Actress Tamara Mello, most famous for her role of Lily Esposito on “Popular” and also a bridesmaid in Hendricks’ 2009 wedding to Geoffrey Arend, sells housewares, jewelry and clothing on the site under the name Blackbird House Design, reports The Wrap.
The scarf is described thusly: “In shades of Kelly Green, Burnt Orange and Gold. I was inspired by the Japanese dying technique Shibori when I created this piece. The scarf was hand knit using different fibers to create its unique texture before being wet felted and molded. The scarf is 60″ long and 9″ at its widest point. This piece is a one of a kind original and will not be duplicated.”
I just want to let you all know that it’s currently up for auction to raise money for charitybuzz’s “Project Angel Food” a visit on the set of the award-winning series Mad Men and a tour with Christina Hendricks.
The winner and a guest will be entitled to visit the set of one of today’s hottest shows, AMC’s Mad Men. You will meet the beautiful Christina Hendricks (Joan Holloway) and take a tour of one of New York’s “newest” ad agency, Sterling, Cooper, Draper, Pryce.
Christina Hendricks stars in this sci-fi video for Broken Bells‘ “Ghost Inside,” while the band make a short cameo at the end. Christina looks great as usual playing a broken android trying to find her way to a resort planet. Enjoy!
Broken Bells, the duo of Danger Mouse and Shins frontman James Mercer, have scored quite a coup for their forthcoming video for “The Ghost Inside“. Entertainment Weekly reports that actress Christina Hendricks, who plays Joan Holloway on “Mad Men” and is almost certainly the hottest woman on the entire face of the planet, appears in the clip as a “beautiful android.” You lost, every other band.
Talking to EW, Mercer says that the duo immediately wanted Hendricks, but they didn’t think they’d get her: “We assumed we would ask and that’d be it. She’s got to be so busy, and who the hell are we? But she said yes! Turns out she’s a fan of our record.”
