Today (May 3rd) Christina is celebrating her birthday. I’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Christina!
Christina was recently on Sesame Street discussing technology. Check out the video below!
Christina Hendricks, Mad Men
Mad Men has never won an acting Emmy (0-19). Crazy, right? Hendricks is most well-positioned to end that dubious streak this year. It’d be easy to purely make Joan the office sexpot, but Hendricks has layered the redhead single mom with poise and confidence, and she was at the center of one of the most polarizing twists this season: Joan prostituting herself to secure the Jaguar account and a partnership stake. Regardless of your feelings about that development, we can all agree that Hendricks acted the hell out of that story line.
5.01/5.02 – “A Little Kiss” (2-hour premiere)
In the season five opener, we’re welcomed back with a surprise for Don as Pete and Roger butt heads, and Joan clashes with a houseguest.
5.03 – “Tea Leaves”
As Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce tries to build upon its current business, Peggy is given new responsibility. Don and Harry indulge a client.
5.04 – “Mystery Date”
Don runs into someone from his past. Joan makes a decision, and Roger gives Peggy extra work.
5.05 – “Signal 30”
Lane strikes up an interesting friendship. Pete entertains guests.

Christina Hendricks struck gold when she was hunting for her wedding dress – she found her dream gown while she was searching for a Golden Globes outfit.
Actor Geoffrey Arend proposed to the Mad Men beauty in late 2008 but Hendricks was in no hurry to plan her look for the big day.
She went for a dress fitting with designer Carolina Herrera for 2009’s Golden Globe awards – and instantly fell in love with the “perfect” gown for her wedding.
Hendricks tells Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine, “It was a classic column dress by Carolina Herrera with a sweetheart neckline, and a vintage-looking bustle on the back. It was the only one I tried on!
“I’d been to get a dress for the Golden Globes and, while I was there, they said, ‘Why don’t you try this?’ It was perfect.”
The actress and Arend married on 11 October, 2009.
